Can I put baby Buttons and Coturnix together in the brooder? The Buttons are hatching now and the Coturnix will hatch Monday or Tuesday.

Alot of people will say yes and no. I will say i have done it with no problems but when the 4 weeks was up in the brooder i moved then into there own cages

I have had them together with the same hatch date to about 15 days difference. No problems for me as long as the younger ones can stay warm enough.
We just now separated the red quail from our buttons. The coturnix were older and taken outside last week.

Mine are now 2 weeks in the same brooder and doing fabulously - they always snuggle together to sleep. When they graduate from the brooder they will go into separate pens.
