I sold 40 chics this week out of what was supposed to be my last hatch of the year. So I just set 43 sunday night @ 10 pm. All of the eggs I had left on hand.

I'm already planning the next hatch and I have no eggs!

What about planning another hatching date, lets say October 3rd? Does that work out? Depending my my quail will lay again for me, I will hopefully get some.

Mine are due on the 3rd or 4th. I've candled a couple but it's hard to see anything. One does look like the yolk has grown though. I can't wait! My temp is holding steady at 99, and the humidity is around 45%.

I think mine are due to hatch after the first week so I can't do a hatch for the 3rd....would love to do the following week or so?

And how do you candle quail eggs? Never tried, myself, just because they are so small and the shell always seemed much thicker than shells so I never attempted.
