Coturnix in the bator tomorrow - ANYONE ELSE?

Up to 8 embryos. I also found 3 that were early DIS couple blood rings and one with a very dark spot. Hopefully these 8 will go to term and hatch. I tossed all of the clear duds last night, the incubator looks pretty empty now.

I think I have pretty much lost this whole set

I have had issue after issue with the incubator. I have a sleep over job on Monday nights and when I got home this morning, it was still dark...I couldn't see a light on in the garage that would indicate the incubator was on. The temp was below 70 when I got it turned on.

I'm going to take them as far as I can and hope non explode or go super bad. I've seen worse things happen, but still want to hold out for 1 or 2 tough little buggars to hatch.

I will keep my fingers crossed...I'm hoping that the drastic variance in temps on my bator mimiced outside temps and they never really started. Boy I know that isalong shot, but have had them moved and at a steady temp and no smell

so I will keep going.

I candled last night. Every single egg was bubkis. 58 nothings

. Stupid bator!

Keep us posted on your babies! I can still live vicariously through your hatch, lol.

still no pips, and no chirps, they have until tuesday or wednesday to hatch, I'd still like to see some sign they they're aliv and working though.
That sucks about your eggs, I would have thought at least some would be viable.

I'll try again. Going in on a big order with another family - they have an industrial incubator, lol, but I'm still going to try with chuckar or pheasant eggs in my bator again - now that I think I have the kinks worked out.
