Don't get me wrong, they are cute as can be as young, but we have an adult roo as well, and he is butt ugly!!

i thought my husband would be mad at the new bator, but he wasn't. i guess after i called hysterical about his rotten kitten, he had no choice to be nice. he did say "you finally got a chick and this happens" i am ready now for chickies. i am getting more eggs from two other people.... i will have chicks up to my eyeballs and it will be snowing here soon. they will be in the basement for a little while, then to the heated barn but i keep that just under 40. (but no drafts)

Oh, monarc, remember when I said I might just get some cortunix from a hatchery? The Lake Cumberland Gamebird hatchery is like half an hour from here!

yes you do, i'd have a major headache everyday if i stayed up that late and got up that early! LOL! I woke up at 10 am that was early enough for me
