Coturnix Quail Basics- Information and Pictures Galore

Me and my mother have been looking into raising quail. As Gambels are the native bird to our area that was one of the obvious choices. I can't, however, seem to find whether or not coturnix do well in 120 deg F weather. We get triple digit heat from June until early October. We want all options to be available and would like to know what to expect if we do go with that particular breed. Thanks everyone.

Anyone?????

Did you load them on this site? They open another winder when you do.

If they're on your computer and you need to post them

Click reply then go to the top of the page and click uploads

The window will open. Click brows and it will open you files.

Find the file and then click submit.

It will give you to links. I always copy the second one. Just right click, copy and go back to the window with your reply and paste the link.

It will show up when submit the post.

If you already have them uploaded to the site just click uploads and in the right bottom it will say "My Uploads" Then follow the other directions from that point.

It can get around 115 here. This week we have double digits so much better. For now.

Make sure that they have shade and lots of water. I go out and spray pens down too. Some people set up fans.

Thanks that really helps. We would love to turn this into a profitable business if we can.

Oh me too.

Been almost a year and still dealing with the VA for Survior Benefits, that don't look like they will go through, so I need to make something here.

I do have one buyer who wants 100 6-8 week olds a month. Hope it all works out.

Good luck to you and your mom.
