O.K. you can call me slow or really tired. You posted a pic. of a BEAUTIFUL quail earlier: blue with the red underbelly and that cute little bib. Can you tell me the name of that bird? I read that post 3 times and am still confused. (working on only three hours of sleep here) And do you breed them? If you do will you put my name on some in the spring??

yep it was blue breasted button quail (aka button quail aka chinese painted quail aka king quail, aka pygmy quail....and so on) LOL!

I do breed them but I'm waiting on my birds (younger ones) to start laying...once they do then i'll have em for sale after I get through my waiting list.

I'm sure you'll get some before then from Cindy (ralphieroosmama) or someone else hehe theres many breeders on here im deffinatly not the only one lol!

Well, had a friend tell me this the one who tought me everything about quail gave me cage ideas tips and everything this guy raises over 200 pheasants, way over 4,000 bobwhites, and chukars for realese and he also raises some cortunix on the side, he told me never to breed an A&M to a Tuxedo because they are both hybreds I'm not sure its fact I'm not sure if its anywhere online but I think that guy knows what hes talking about, so my personal view of it true or not I'm not trying it till someone proves him wrong, just thought I'd say it incase you wanted to add that info somewhere or found any info regarding the matter.
