The Jumbo Brown... Do they all start out with tons of spots on the chest and the boys slowly lose them?

I honestly can't rember how the last group I did featherd out. I was just so excited about having them I can't remember. LOL!

See, the ones I hatched from you, Quaillady, had tons of spots, so I was thinking all girls , but now I'm see a little rust color showing up.
Do I have some boys in the bunch?

I'll try and get some pics later. Time to show you how they are growing anyway.

Here are my Autumn Ambers beside a normal looking gold. The photo isn't that great but you can see the difference in color.

I was hoping for at least 7 girls in this hatch. ... and I only got 6 jumbo brown.

I'll look at them tonight. I swear I'm going to spray paint their heads after I check. You put them down and lose them in the crowd.

My older ones are 5 girls, 3 boys! Pets. lol...

I wasn't planning on a bar- b- Q , but one may be in the near future. LOL!

That's a good question. So far it looks like the roux takes over. The Autumn Amber is a good base color however for other future projects. The roux plays a huge role in the color though. Now to not mix the genes and keep pure lines. Martha, you do the same....lots of cage marking. If one ever gets an egg labeled AA, you know what it is LOL
