Awesome! I love seeing my birds are still going strong. My flocks are revamping...cages filling up. Well dont have the cages yet but when I do...they will be full lol.

I have bought Jumbo eggs from many breeders over the last two years, and I must say the largest adult birds came from SamG.

I ordered 50+ eggs from Lake Cumberland and they were "Jumbos" or they were supposed to be, they ended up getting to around 8-10oz.

I suggest that when I comes to eggs, buy them from a small breeder.

yep and someone who's gotten good reviews about their quail as well....that being said i have no reviews yet myself hahahaha.. but yes small breeders are the way to go.

and Cindy i didnt get to comment, no worries my one male makes my hens feathers look lke that too for some reason he picks at their feathers and makes them look ruffed like that on teh back

Me too... LOL

I need to get me one of those scales!!! I never thought of putting them in a bowl! great idea!!! I have a few that are fairly large and hefty but I have no clue how much they weigh

I also bread for larger birds I'm getting ready to build them some new breading cages as soon as it gets a little warmer...

Anyone notice a change to the taste of the meat if you bread the A&M with other breeds?? I started with the A&M because they are supposed to be all white meat but I really like the look of the Tibetans and want to breed some of those as well...

I know the females are the big beefcakes... LOL but what is a good size for the males to keep as a breeding male? all of mine seem to be about half the size of my gals!

I have eggs available if anybody wants. Just PM or (preferably) email me. I haven't noticed much difference between the males and females as long as they are over 10 weeks of age. Earlier than that and they are just little tidbits

I only have the jumbos, never had the A&M's.
