Hi! Yesterday I noticed one of my Leghorns is coughing. She seems otherwise healthy - running around, eating, laying, comb looks fine, clear eyes and nose, no mucus. She was still coughing this morning, although not as much. I've quarantined her from the others and was planning on picking up VetRx today. What else should I do? I feel like an antibiotic might be overkill in the absence of any other symptoms. Has anyone else experienced this?

Morning!
She's doing much better! Whatever it is seems to be resolving itself. I only heard her cough once yesterday; she spent the evening in the garage with us supervising our tractor repairs. Crop is emptying, poops are normal, laid a healthy looking egg. Very strange. I think @FrankieDoodle was correct, and she seems to have worked it out! Thank you so much for your input!

Glad to hear she is doing better.
Nothing like having a supervisor in the garage:lol:
