Could I have Starved her? Emergency - please read and give advice.

Would be best to get her in a warm room (80-85 degrees is ideal). No more milk! Once warmed up give warmed (102 degrees) Gatorade or pedialyte instead. Do not force feed until you get lots of fluids into her. Do you want to learn how to tube feed?

I have a broody hen who will not get up and out of her nest unless forced, Once on the ground she will stay laying, So everyday i take her out to eat and drink. I hold her up so she standing and slowly remove my hand from her and soon after that she would take off and dust bath or something...

I'd try and make her drink every time you can a day and i wouldnt give her any milk..

If your co-worker sneezes even once, please request it wears a mask because we at BYC are very worried you might contract human flu from it and fail to properly care for an animal.:smack

Treatment - I also give mine daily a lightly scrambled egg while they are sick/recovering/new hatch, as recommended to me by others on BYC - very healthy and they really get excited when they see scrambled egg.

Update. Lily (now so named) made it through the night. I picked up Pedialyte and gave her that using a children's medication syringe. I fed her warm mash using the pedialyte and I made her scrambled eggs and hand fed her. Today she is a little better. I went to Runnings and got VetRx and the electrolytes with vitamins and have been giving her that as well. She seems better. She still isn't up and about - but more active. She pooped green today.
