Could it be

Pretty hen Nathhowe is she a dark pied?
Heck as hot as it is they are all dropping their wings, but i watched her and while she is out by herself she did not have her wings dropped nor was she panting, i did notice she would go over and set by the geese at the dry creek i keep the hose running in, then she got back up and rejoined the flock about 15 minuets later.

I hope she does not start laying cause the eggs will go to waist because they will not be fertile
That's Cricket, she is IB but does have a couple white feathers so likely split. It's not as hot here in FL as it has been in other areas of the country but during the hottest hours of the day, my male lays under one of his few favorite trees and the hens lay up by the house with the chickens.

I REALLY want to see video of you herding your flock back home!!! They are so funny they are more curious than cats I think...during TS Debby I had a tree branch down and they were out there inspecting it before it had quit raining lol. They just had to get a look at it.

Oh, and when the big wood stork showed up at the neighbors property, my yearling hen crossed the street and was stalking it from a safe distance of about 6 ft.

Yep their rubber neck-en is hilarious.
I had to have my DH cut some pines infected with beetles and they were all in the limbs on the ground.
had to wait for them to leave before i could drag them out of the woods.

We have all kinds of water fowl drop in and there always ends up with peas in persuit

LOL that photo makes me laugh, I can just wonder what is going through those peas minds. "Whoa look down there...strange bird down there need to get a better look. Who's going with me???"

I guess they are just clamming their territory except when the cow bird lands it lets them get within feet of it then flights away about 20 feet which keeps the peas moving forward to places they never venture normally.

My girl is back to normal for the time being, i never seen a peas so anxious looking.

My girl has a nest, i noticed her missing again yesterday but she was not freaked out like before, anyhow, she came up missing a bit ago and i hear her calling in the woods, i went the direction of the call and saw her honked down in some broken branches course my dogs noticed her also so i had to turn around and call them off her as they were on point, i will let y'all know what i find.
Now i will know what pea eggs look like in person so i can be ready next year cause i got so many different kinds of birds free ranging that if their eggs look similar i would not know the difference

I found these eggs up by the gate a while back now i wonder if they may have been pea eggs cause i haven't found anymore like them sense then..

Those don't look like pea eggs to me. It could be the lighting but mine have more brown in them. Wonder what type eggs those are do you have chickens as well?

Yea i got chickens, ducks, guineas and geese
I wonder if they lay different colored eggs like my guineas do?
here she is, she isn't hidding very good.

She was not on those eggs, i found them up by my gate along the fence row when i was bush hoggen, hecki i just checked the date and that was back in feb, man time flies when ya get old.
She came back up and i checked there are no eggs yet.
Does anyone know if i can swap them out if she does lay? i don't want to have to keep hunting for a nest.

Well, I should probably leave this question for someone with more experience, but:
Last year, my neighbor (who is, I think, overly concerned about a peacock population boom) (long story) took Mom's eggs and replaced them with chicken eggs.
And Mom kept sitting on them and she did hatch one.
But it seemed a little mean to me, because she thought the chick should be a peachick, and she tried to teach it how to do peachick things, but it was a chicken, so eventually there had to be a painful separation...
