my geese are 1 week 2 days and much bigger than the ducks. the ducks are 2 days old and smaller. i was wondering if i could raise them together so my chickens could be by themselves. this stock tank is bigger. it is 70" long and 23" wide. it has more room. i was mainly wondering because my chickens do not seem happy with the way the geese "enjoy" their water.

All you can do is try it, most likely it will be a good match, especially when it comes to water.

would the geese bully the ducks though.
I wouldn't think so, but like I said give it a try and if things don't go according to plan then remove the geese or the ducks, just make sure there is plenty of room in the brooder you plan on putting them together in, They grow so fast you'll wake up one morning and it will be wall to wall water fowl. LOL

Mine didn't. I raised 2 little ducks with 2 little African gooslings and now that they are grown and the one duck Fussy just hatched out 2 of Alice's eggs [the goose] everyone is fine. When the geese go outside the pen Henry the male duck gets very upset and spends the day quacking at them. Geese don't care tho. They want back in at night tho.

I didn't have an age difference last year when I had my duckling and goosling together. They did alright together, matter of fact the Goose thinks she is a duck or something. I bought 3 new ducklings this year and the Goose wants to be the momma to them, she protects them from the chickens when I let them hang out together.

My geese were 1 week old when I got them and the ducks were 3 months. They got on okay for a while, were housed together too. When my female goose started laying, the geese started to attack my week old ducklings that had hatched outside under their momma.

The geese went to freezer camp.

i tried it and the geese must think they are ducks. they are literally 7x the size of the ducks but they want to be right next to the ducks and they are getting along fine. some of the ducks want to be close to them too. i wonder if one of the ducks is dumb enough to think that one is its mother.

Just might think so, I have found with ducks and geese, just my observation, ducklings mature faster than geese do so in real time they are probably about the same .except for size

the only thing i dont appreciate about the geese is that they occasionally peck one of the ducks, but the problem is the duck doesnt really care and it pecks it until it leaves or just when its tired of pecking.
