Beautiful Northern Ontario
Just trying to identify a chick. I had not ordered any Aracaunas in my small batch of chicks but could this be a Aracauna or Easter Egger? Must have got accidentally mixed in.
She has no tail feathers and no comb. Any opinions?

It's not an araucana. It doesn't have a tail because it young and tail hasn't started growing in yet.
Too early to tell what it is since there's a few breeds with that pattern.
Brown leghorn and welsummer just to name a couple.

Agree, all my araunacas have greenish/grey legs! As stated above its more than likely a welsummer, or maybe mix breed depending on where it came from? I've had a mix breed that sort of look like that one, but was a little darker. Cute chick either way! Good luck :)
