It is not a Red SL, but rather a Production Red, which is not a hybrid like a Red SL, but rather a hatchery slurry of egglaying breeds. They are good egg-layers, and tend to be fairly similar to Rhode Island Reds, just lighter.

Cool. I image searched Production Red chicks and she seems like a good match. I suppose it might be a he. Hope it's a hen. He/she is such a chill little guy.
