If she consistantly hatches on day 19 I would thnk her bator runs a tad high, but if the chicks are hatching healthy, who cares

Thats what I thought it was running higher. Thats true if chicks are hatching healthy for her then I guess it dosent matter.

My friend called me today today is day 18 and she turned off the egg turner and she could hear the chicks chirping! I was so excited! I feel like a kid on christmas..LOL This never gets old no matter how many times you have hatched eggs it always feels like the first time!..LOL

My broody is not moving off her nest and has a very determined look on her face.

So exciting!!!!!

They were spossed to hatch on Monday or Tues!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW! We might have babies tomorow! or Tonight!!!!!!!

Don't see anything going on just yet under my broody hen. So keeping my fingers crossed but 21 days isnt till monday so i maybe wishing for them to hatch too early..LOL

I can feel your excitement! I have a hen who has been setting on 8 eggs for 18 days. I am so anxious you'd think I was the one having babies!! She's in a nest that is too high for the babies to be hatched in. Should I move her now? Or wait until they hatch? Who knows? hr
