12 chicks arriving today! They substituted (with my okay) 2 speckled Sussex for the Colombian Wyandotte. So excited/nervous!

I LOVE my Speckled Sussex! A good substitute imo! Can’t wait to see pics!

I was able to get some Easter Eggers at Tractor Supply. They are straight run, so I bought 7 to hopefully get 2 or 3 pullets.

There are two, slightly different, patterns, One is light yellow with black chipmunk pattern. The other is also yellow, with a chipmunk pattern, but the black stripe is interspersed with yellow down.

So another countdown for me! Broody on the nest started on Sunday March 5th. 10 eggs! Four that I gave her from other hens.

Does the tracking say delivery tomorrow? I'm guessing they didn't come today.

It was supposed to be tommorow... But it says they are coming Thursday...

Greenfire Farms just emailed they cannot ship my order of 55 Flowery Hens this week due to a Hatcher overheating?! I am really hoping she can ship to me another date
