I am the momma of TEN Speckled Sussex bantam chicks!

They've been introduced to their water and food, and the MHP. They're all underneath it right now, very quiet, just occasional peeps.

I ordered 10 from Meyer for a May 1 hatch; 2 Blue Ameracauna; 1 Black Copper Maran, 2 Cream Legbar; 1 Penedesenca; 2 Olive Eggers; 2 Barnevelders

6 will stay with my existing flock of 6 (new coop in progress to accommodate). 4 will go to my daughter's flock that she has had for 11 years--that will bring her current count to 13.

I currently have: 2 BLR Wyandottes (super great layers); 1 Cream Legbar, 1 Welsummer, an Easter Egger; and a Lavender Orpington

As you can see, we're just backyard hobbyists; I enjoy a mixed flock for the variety of bird colors and egg colors.

Made it to TSC. Still nearly sold out just the day after they got the new batch of chicks in. All that was left was assorted bantams, red broilers and EEs. Had to call my help line(my brother)so I wouldn't walk out the store with 6 bantams. I got a nature right 360 and a brooder plate instead.
