Hawks don't need hardware cloth, but definitely for raccoons. Have you already bought it? It's so expensive!

Yeah I skipped Home Depot and ended up purchasing 100ft in a roll online. Still paid almost $100 but was cheaper than local stores. You should have seen my poor FedEx guy carrying it....was sooo heavy. It's a pain to cut it all, that was my job lol.....my husband melted some of the cuts but I'd rather use a clipper . I got scared of the grinder and sparks

Okay.. Where in the heck did you get 100ft for $100? I need that website! lol!

You don't even want to know how much I paid to build my brooder.. The fencing only came in 5ft long rolls, and it cost $30 a roll. I bought 4 rolls. INSANE!

Chicken wire is much cheaper.

I got the 1/4 inch 100 ft at horse lovers and the 1/2 inch 50ft ...I'm actually debating buying some more.

Of course they are! Check your coop for the itty bitty hair dryers they've got stashed in there... . My 8yo daughter wants Silkies. And Polish, and LF Cochins, and Jersey Giants and... I bought some bantam Cochins.

Woohoo two eggs...I bet I dance when I see an egg...
So these little ones are huge! I can't believe how quickly they got big...I'm in shock...and they all want to fly around now. Roosting on top the water and food dishes...the ecoglow sides and top.

Still cuties and everyone loves their little noises
