I've been wanting to, i went tonight and got a new sd card for my camera as my other two are corrupt. I will take a picture of her tomorrow as i'm also going to post some new pics of my aviary and birds and new project in my other thread in my signature.

Today when i was in the pen i caught her to look her over, reason being, it bugs me because her primarys cover up her speculum feathers, you can see in the pic how only one speculum feather is showing and normal there are none showing.

all the speculum feathers are there, her primarys are just flipped over them. i've seen my ducks and other wild ducks have there spec.s covered but its there body feathers (flanks) that cover them up. She can fly fine and all, but the look itself annoys me, course theres not much i can do its her look after all

Last tuesday morning when the blizzard first hit the wild duck that had come into the flock flew the coup. I wasn't exactly worried seeing as how she was truly wild and obviously was 2+ years old (based on color and quality of feathers) with experience. Well today when i let the flock out to play in some puddles here come the wild hen flying in (about 5 days later). Guess she likes it here.
