My excitement is starting to over flow... 26 more days and I'll have baby chicks!!!!!

Post office said they were in San Francisco yesterday afternoon! Now I am calling the Reno plant to see if they are there yet... Sooooo close.

My hubby wont hardly let me go to TSC alone when it's "chick days" but hmm... I bet I can sneak away this weekend....

mine are due next week i ordered in the first week of january its been driving me crazy !! lol just a few more days left !!!! brooders are set up and ready feed is bought .. shavings are down .. save a chick on hand gro gel in the orders ahh im so excited .. im callin iin the morning to add a few more =D ( i changed it once already this week lol .. but i think i need to take a few off and add a few diff breeds =) oh chicken math lol but .. my older girls are starting to lay and lay again ( a couple are a year old the others are just starting to lay =p ) i got 8 eggs yesterday and six today .. =p cant wait till everybodys laying except they are laying all over the coop .. =/ silly girls .. i think im going to go buy some easter eggs =p and leave them in there a while and see what that does lol =p
i ordered
25 super duper males (mm hatchery ), blue buff and white silkies a couple of each .. , drk light and buff brahmas (standard) , gold laced buff laced and silver laced polish , blue andalusians (3 but ima take one off .. and switch them for wlr cornish =p) mottled and birchen bantam cochin , standard partridge cochin <3 , bantam and standard ameracaunas they are my favorites =) , porcelian and mille fleur dUccles , antwerp quail belgian d anvers (im adding a couple of these .. since i only ordered one .. and i think they are cool ... ) turkens , salmon faveroles , blr wyandottes , 2 random exotics .. (hope they are something neat .. ) cuckoo marans , red caps , egyptian faymois, wlr cornish,speckled sussex i love them the one i got last year got taken by the giant red fox .. (its bigger than a labrador !! yes im sure its a red fox =/) but i have a awesome coop against it now .. so yeah .. no more predator taken my babies .. also thinkin about adding a silver leghorn .. a probably a couple others by the time i go through the book one more time .. haha =) yay just a few more days !! (they will be here by monday ... hopefully sooner !!! ) <3 baby chickens make me happy =p and i love my girls that are all grown up yay baby chick season lol
