Couple Hen Questions.

How long does it take for the Hen to lay after shes hatched? These babies arent hers but were hatched when hers hatched. Would it speed up the laying of an egg if I removed the babies from her? Thanks

I've always heard they will start laying again when the chicks don't need them anymore. They will know.
