Couple of questions about this Bantam

What breed is she?
Does her cheeks indicate her egg color?
Is she close to laying?
She was born in late summer

she looks like a dutch bantam. earlobe color can indacte possable egg color. shes no weres being red enough to indacate laying, it could be because of the short winter days

Yeah, I agree, she looks like a Dutch bantam. They lay white eggs. Most breeds with white earlobes lay white eggs (there are some exceptions). If she was hatched late summer, then she's approximately 5 months old. She doesn't look red enough in the face to be close enough to laying to say soon. Keep an eye on her though -- sometimes they'll redden very quickly.

Looks like my hen, a dutch bantam! SHE IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!

Expect white eggs, but my hen actually laid peach eggs for awhile.
