Tango snarled.  "You don't scare me."  He stared into her eyes, his glare fiery.  "Let go if you know whats good for you." 

Something snapped in Taakaa. Something she didn't really understand. But she knew she had to push. Taakaa let go out the rabbit and at the same moment, a snap second, jumped up and sank her teeth into the big coyotes throat. Pushing with all her might to get him to the ground.

Tango was surprised by the smaller coyotes move. He grunted, and tripped, but swerved his movement towards Taakaa, trying to smother her on the ground with his weight.

Loosing her footing, Taakaa fell to her side with a loud yelp. Scrambling to her feet quickly, she lowered herself to the ground, narrowing her eyes, and planned her next move.

"You won't win this just because you're bigger than me!" She threatened.

Tango smirked, and crouched waiting for her next move. "I don't plan to defeat you. I only plan to take what is rightfully mine." He snarled. "If you want to fight for it though, that's okay with me."

Taakaa laughed to herself. I can do this she thought. She lunged again. Teeth showing, and latched onto his ear. Shaking her head violently.

Grunting as his paw made contact, Taakaa fell onto her haunches. Glaring at him, she panted,"Fine. Take it. Just stay off our ground."

She struggled to stand, yelping, she winched seeing the clump on cactus planted firmly in her rear leg. Great. Now what am I going to do? she thought.

Tango just stared. Something inside him made him not want to leave. "Here....." He growled. "You put up a nice fight. Go ahead and have this." He flung the rabbit on the ground in front of her.

Taakaa looked up suddenly. "Why?" She asked. "You don't owe me anything." She reached around and tried to nip the cactus from her toosh.
