Sagestep had been out early, and returned to her den, mouth full of healing herbs and berries to stock her supplies.

Sagestep stocked her herbs (I'm using Warriors herbs, if you've ever read that series, for reference) before going outside and stretching out on top of her den, her back to the sun-heated rocks.

Verit padded outside of her den, blinking the night out of her sleepy eyes. The sun was a great phoenix rising from the dawn as she stepped outside of camp.
