Taakaa heard some yipping off in the distance and sat up, straining to hear who it was. hmmm..that sounds like it's from the other side of the river.

Poppy dashed through the woods, leaping over fallen trees, and crashing through under brush. She slowed down when the river came into sight. Hmmm, now where is that watermint? She wondered.

Taakaa snickered to herself as she her crashing and breaking of twigs in the underbrush. She just knew whoever it was was fixing to land in the river. She waited for a splash, surprised when she didn't hear one.

Poppy, prowled the edge of the bank, sniffing intently. "Watermint.... watermint..... where are you?" She mumbled to herself. She squeaked when her back paws slipped on the sand, and splashed into the water. Shaking them off she continued her search.

Poppy yipped when the familiar scent of watermint reached her nose. She quickly nipped off a mouthful of leaves, and turned back towards camp.

Sagestep crept out of the shadows and followed Poppy back.
