Crack and I cant see the pip.

Next time you will need to raise the temp slightly, but be patient they might still hatch fine. Just a couple days "late" The droplets sound like ok humidity, but make sure it doesn't drop if you open.
Lowering the temperature during lockdown is a good thing actually, since the chicks can produce some of their own body heat by then.

Temperature between 98.5°F, & 97.5°F are desired.

Well the little guy who pipped at 420ish this morning is still going at it. I got worried about the other 6 with no pips. I float tested them and all six came up viable. We will see. The waiting game begins.

You floated the eggs in water? Did you see ripples? I understand that floating the eggs is a last ditch effort to check for movement. People float eating eggs to check for freshness. Hopefully the chicks pip and arrive quickly.:fl

A few did wobble when they were in the water and all of them floated with only their sac above the water.

Good to know there was movement. How are they now?
No pips last I looked but I have to check again in a short while. The one chick that made it out had some of its yolk sac on the outside but is doing much better now. Just a sticky chick, I'm trying to get it to fluff up.

Still no pips last I looked. Little guy that made it out is fluffing up, walking and hanging out with a few other chicks we got at the feed store. If he makes it through the night I think he will be ok. I hope everyone else pips tonight.

(Hes the little tiny guy all the way on the right. he has been right in the middle of the dog pile when they snooze.)
