Crafters! What are you planning for the new year?

I've bought the clear glycerin melt and pour from a wholesale website - 24 pounds in a solid block for $30.00. They sell the goats milk base and white glycerin and extra clear..., fragrances, molds, even candle making supplies. I've been really pleased with them and they are alot cheaper than ebay sellers. The website is: http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/ Darlene

Well my plan is to get my sewing room cleaned out first - its full of boxes, jackets and winter clothing and junk we don't want in the rest of the house - you can hardly WALK in there!

Just reading all of your posts is motivating me to increase my list!!!

Not all "crafty," but I'd like to:

* Do more quilting (I want to do a denim quilt and I also bought some farm animal themed fabric for another quilt I'd like to do)
* Do more crocheting and have a booth at one of the flea markets
* Plant a small apple orchard in the back yard
* Do more canning in general and try more preserves/jellies/jams
* DH suggested we try making some soaps this year
* start cleaning out the back of the property and begin preparations to build a larger barn so I can get some cows in the future
* And of course, I'm increasing my "farm" to include turkeys, ducks, a batch of meat chicken, and I'd like to have 5 or 6 pigs this year instead of just 2

And on top of all this, we're hoping to get pregnant this year? I wish there were 48 hours in a day...

Good luck to everyone and Happy New Year!!!

Spotted, who makes the pattern for the chicken and eggs? Can you post a picture of it?

Those other patterns are really cute.

You can sell microwave soap? I didn't know there was such a thing.

But also, it seems like you sure do market your stuffs for sale here a whole lot. Maybe you could become a sponsor here and get an advertisement up! Otherwise... it seems sort of questionable, no.

And also, regarding concealed pistol licenses, the difficulty in getting one depends on the state that you live in, since it is state regulated. Some states are shall issue, some are may issue, and some don't issue them at all. You get one through the county that you live in if you are applying for a license in your home state. Typically you surrender fingerprints, undergo a state and federal level background check, pay a fee, have full fingerprints taken, and in some states you must complete a safety or handgun competency course.
