Craigslist Account Hackers?

I found that the email that they used to send it to me was kindy fishy. I'm suspicious of every single thing, so i knew that i wasn't going to click on the link. I'm just glad that I have all of you to offer suggestions and ideas. Everytime i have any kind of problem, I always post it here. I don't do anything until I hear from BYC. Thanks everyone!!!

It's like the ebay ones i keep getting, even had somone tried a few times to get me to send money as they said i sold them something and they never recieved it, i don't sell on ebay!

Craigs list had a warning about that. Do not open, if you think there is something wrong with your account go directly to craigs list via the real site and check your account that way. The e-mail you got is someone trying to steal your info.

Never ever ever never click on a link from correspondence sent to you, even if you know it's from the source it says it is. Log onto the site in question and then contact them, send them what was sent to you and ask them if it's from them. More than likely it is not but it's better to be safe than sorry. One red flag is that the link does not start with 'craigslist' like their real site does, it starts with 'accounts' and then 'craigslist' Oh, and after you find out it is a scam/phish, don't be tempted to contact them to let them know you know they're scumbags. 1st off they already know they're scumbags and clicking that link can get you into other types of trouble. Delete it, mark it as scam/spam and just forget it. It's not going to be the last one you get for sure.

Craigslist is the most worthless piece of Crap SITE out there... Just an FYI to all ... anytime you list a large ($500 or more) item you get automated hacks; That I believe comes from craigslist themselves... Here's my reasons why... I reported 2 of them after they got my email address that they used craigslist replies to achieve.. Once I reported it to Gmail, PayPal and Craigslist my posts started to be deleted... as I put them up and my account was marked.

All I was trying to do is sell my dead father oxygen equipment.

Once I reported the hacks my trouble begun. If you don't respond to them the hacks will also flag you.... Every time I tried to get craigslist to help I would get an automated email message... so if you want to get your email hacked and have no way of getting help aside from calling consumer affairs or your local police... which they will laugh at you... then please post to craiglist... really they are the hackers/scammers.. do not post to craigslist... you have been warned. I had to delete everything in my email and am now screwed. THANKS CRAIGSLIST
