I was checking the "Treat Guide" for treat suggestions and did not see cranberries listed....it's that time of year for turkey and pumkin pie and cranberry sauce

so I got to wondering if CRANBERRIES are okay for a treat for chickens??

.....thanks for any help!!

I was reading on another thread that cranberries are great to give to your chickens. Wish I could remember who posted it because the member had a lot of good holistic information on chickens and good stuff to feed them.

Awesome!

Do they need to be dried or cut in half (like I do with grapes)??

I was hoping to mix in with their morning yogurt, flax seed, spinach mix, which they love

Thanks!!

That's what I have been doing, mixing the dried crabberries in with their yogurt/walnut combo(they love it!).
I might cut them in half simply because the skin on them is kinda tough.
