Uh...this ain't like one of those auctions where you scratch your nose and you've suddenly bid $500 on a busted butter churn is it?

copperpatina, after you bid you still have to keep an eye on things in case somebody outbids you and you want to rebid. Or, if you felt the eggs were worth it, you could bid something like $6 and that would make any other bidders think a bit harder about bidding against you.

This is basically like a live auction where you bid, somebody else bids, then if you want to bid again you have to manually enter your bid
again....this doesn't work like eBay where you can set a max amount and as people bid against you your bid goes up automatically.
