Bummer I was just going to bid on them!

My most recent hatch just finished. I started with 16 eggs, one rotten, 1 quit. Had the following hatch out: 7 black/splits, 5 lavenders and 2 MOTTLED!!! Yes, these are the same parents of the eggs on auction.

Apparently it's an off shoot from bringing the lavender in. Jody and Charlie had talked about it before. It comes from the out crossing and crossing back in to get the color.

The cool thing is, like the lavender, it will breed true once it "appears".

So it's like BONUS! 'cause you'll get lavs, black split and possibly a mottled!!
