My three-week-old chicks have been very rambunctious for about an hour every morning for the past few days, and I am wondering if this is normal! They are quiet early, but around 8:30 or so they start flapping, running, squawking and knocking things over in the brooders for about an hour--or more. it is still going on at a quarter to ten! They are not picking on one another or anything bad. Is it just extra energy? The rest of the day they are fairly quiet and peaceful.
