Crazy Colored Chicken

Yep With a little work, you can use that Rainbow roo on the BB Red hens and make you some Blue Reds and Splash Reds ( the splash reds would be really pretty, like Red Pyles.)

I personally dont know, I havent had enough experience with small breed bantam like that to know, I have a few Seramas and I'm not really seeing any Serama influence and to me it looks a little be to even be an OEG and its a mixed color anyway so it may be a game mix.

Ya know what, honestly, when I first saw the picture, I thought it was a serama mutt. The coloring looks like some kind of blue laced red, but Seramas come in all kinds of colors, so you never know what you get out of them. My serama females look a lot like that (in the feace, neck and chest). The legs are too long, its back is too long and the wings aren't vertical enough, so it's either a bad type serama or it's a mutt. Could be Serama and OEGB. Some of my females hackle feathers are more pointed than others. Yes they ARE females, they lay eggs. IDK about the saddle feathers. Can't really tell from from the pic. Personally, I don't trust sexing on a lot of birds until they either crow or lay an egg.

I'm open to bets on silkies. I have a beautiful white male from SQ line. The only thing wrong with him is his toe spacing is off.

I think its the coloring on the back making the saddle feathers look longer. I had my father in law look at it, he was raised around chickens, he thinks its a pullet, but we will only know like yall said, when it crows or lays...I am keeping both of them though, the black and the rainbow....thanks for all the thoughts and opinions

Ondra's Seramas :

I can tell you an be 100% sure that it is NOT a Serama. No chance. It has no Serama influence.

Hope you get it figured out

I can see serama (looking at her side by side with our other seramas) I can see serama in her head and neckset, but thats about it....I figure she may be a serama oegb cross...
