Ya know what, honestly, when I first saw the picture, I thought it was a serama mutt. The coloring looks like some kind of blue laced red, but Seramas come in all kinds of colors, so you never know what you get out of them. My serama females look a lot like that (in the feace, neck and chest). The legs are too long, its back is too long and the wings aren't vertical enough, so it's either a bad type serama or it's a mutt. Could be Serama and OEGB. Some of my females hackle feathers are more pointed than others. Yes they ARE females, they lay eggs. IDK about the saddle feathers. Can't really tell from from the pic. Personally, I don't trust sexing on a lot of birds until they either crow or lay an egg.
I'm open to bets on silkies. I have a beautiful white male from SQ line. The only thing wrong with him is his toe spacing is off.
