Having a certain number of posts gives more credibility to the person. People get ripped off enough in this country, why encourage it? Just trying to help keep people from getting ripped off, I guess if it's ok with others, then it's none of my business, but I won't be participating.

I agree, the number of posts doesn't prove reliability. I don't have a lot of posts, but anyone who has bought or received my eggs knows I am honest. I think if anyone trades and then doesn't follow through, they should be banned from participating again, and it should be made public that they did so. Reputation is everything when you are dealing with others.

the OEGB are still on the table!! Why? Lets all just trust one another and have fun. If someone notices someone is participating that shouldn't be just let me know and I will be the bad guy and say something.

I am glad to see the people above me feel they way I do. Even though I only have a few posts it is good to see I could join in if I had eggs. Most people are honest. It's only a very few that are not. I guess I feel that if a person didn't send me any they would have good reason. They are eggs not gold. If I was to lose my eggs and shipping it's not going to break me or probably most people here. I take bigger risks than that in playing the lottery once a month. I lose every time.

I hope to join in someday. I need a rooster first.

Thanks again Buster for starting chain last year. It was lots of fun and I was one that never got my eggs from two of the swaps. However, I did get some lovely Delawares from the swap.

Have fun everyone but do know that there is a small chance that there maybe a few "rotten eggs" in the pack. If you're a rotten egg, please go elsewhere.
