How exactly does this work?? Can someone outline the process? I am interested in participating. I am going to go out and take pics of my hen and roo so i will be ready.

Okay, now that I have read the rules, and think I understand, I will say that I'll take the OEGB and offer 12+ button quail eggs! Let me know if that's not okay. It seems like it is by the rules, but idk

As soon as my chickens are separated and laying again, I'll join. It was fun last summer. Accidents do happen- I had 2 sets of eggs not come to me that were supposed to...cats dump baskets of eggs, hens stop laying, predators come and kill the precious chickens...and on and on. I didn't have anyone be dishonest with me. I hope to be able to get some of those birds this Spring that I didn't get to hatch last summer. The Wild Egg Chain is so much crazy fun, I'll be sure to join it once I have eggs to trade...We're still freezing cold here.

I'll take the button quail and offer 6+ Serama eggs. All but one of my hens, and all of my roos (that are currently in use) were purchased from Jerry Schexnayder in LA (2 of the hens were from a local lady who got them from Jerry), so these eggs come from quality birds.

"Person A offers (fertile) eggs. We would like to keep a minimum of 6, but if you would like to offer more that would be fine too. Person B likes what is offered and says "I'll take those and in turn offer..." Person C likes those and offers some of their eggs."

This is the part I don't understand. 92Caddy took the long crowers, but then didn't really offer the marans, yet. Is it because he was the first taker? Help.

Can someone explain the chain part so i can participate? If I see something I like, I will have amber sex links available. light cream eggs.
