OK, I have to edit this, my turkey hen is sitting tight now...sorry..no turkey eggs. Hmmmm...let me see what I might be able to find locally. Anyone might be interested in a few red shoulders? I MIGHT be able to get a few of them, from my stingy neighbor. I doubt I can get pics tho...like I said, he is stingy!​

My chickens are from Cackle Hatchery, except for my Silkies, which I bought from people in CA. My question is - Can chickens bought from a hatchery be considered 'pure'? I have 3 Light Brahmas.

If the Brahmas are the only type in the pen....and you are sure no cross breeding has occured...then yes, they are "pure"

Thank you - they are in with some EE's and a BO, but they are only 9 weeks old. Will be sure to separate them once they are ready to lay and wait a month so their eggs will not be mutt eggs.
