Cream Legbar Chicks?

Beautiful chicks! Do you know what other breeds the breeder had? The one that looks pure cream legbar in your hand is a boy as he has the spot on his head. If they all came from blue eggs than likely all half cream leg bar anyway. It will be fun to see photos as they get older. Most cream leg bar crosses develop a bit of a crest. Good chance the females will lay green eggs depending on what their other half is!

Hey! Sorry I missed this. I’m glad we at least got one pure cream legbar I’m not sure what other breeds the breeder had, unfortunately. They’ve gotten so big already! We’ve also recently discovered that 3 of them have five toes, which is interesting. If I get a minute I’ll take some new pics and update the post.

Awesome! Likely some silkie in there as well, they will usually have a crest also. Did the breeder have silkies?

Do they also have feathers on their feet?
Silkie-crosses often have 5 toes and feathered feet, but if they have clean feet they might be part Dorking or Houdan instead.

Here they are a wee bit older. The ones with the fives toes are the one in the second picture and the two dark ones with the white tips to their wings!

Faverolles also have extra toes, but they do have feathered legs as well. They also have magnificent beards.
