Here are 2 of the pullets that possibly laid the egg.

These 2 both have descent crests. Some of the others, look same in appearence and color but; they have smaller to no crests.

I got my 1st egg today from my Bielefelder Roo x Cream Legbar Hen. It was an olive colored egg.

Does anybody know the genetic diffrences in cuckoo marans and golden cuckoo marans. I want to breed them to my CL roo for olive eggers. But i also want to know if i can breed the regular cuckoos to the golden cuckoo and get more goldens

well my friend just found some french silver cuckoo marans.whats the genetic diffrence between the 3 and im wondering which will make the best looking olive eggers

They look bigger than CLs normally look.

Do you have a guess on if the Cockerels will be good meat producers?

The Only Difference would be, the Cuckoo have E/E Extended Black and Golden cuckoos have ER/ER Birchen

Cuckoo are all Barred E/E B/B most of them are based on Silver

Golden Cuckoos are Brown Red Barred, ER/ER B/B s+/s+

Silver cuckoos are Birchen Barred ER/ER B/B S/S
