Cream Legbar Hybrid Thread

Mystery chick 2, the feathers have a pretty blue gray tinge that the photo didn't really capture. Again dad is CL mom is ?

Mystery chick 1, my gut tells me cockerel, but it's still early. CL dad, unknown mom.

Cute chick! Is it from your flock or someone elses? Its comb to me looks like it might be from a V comb breed, possible a Rose comb breed. Do you have any known suspects or know the color egg it hatched from?

Mystery chick 3, I really hope this one is a pullet, I love her colors and I dig her slatey greenish legs.

I was told that RIR is a possible mom, but it looks like my Wyandotte chicks. Not from my flock, I bought it from craig'slist. Was told it would lay olive eggs if it's a hen.

His mother is a Silver Laced Wyandotte Hen, he will be single barred incomplete laced Golden(S/s+) it may look like a Silver Wybar

These males are from The Silver and Gold Wybar(autosexing Wyandottes) project, so they are single barred S/s+ and Heterozygous for the Lacing pattern(Co/co+ Pg/pg+ Ml/ml+)

We aren't allowed to have roosters in the neighborhood (plus we don't want to deal with the aggressiveness of a rooster) so my husband plans on eating him. Is he special or rare and should I try to rehome him instead? I don't want to inadvertently cull a cockerel that somebody else wants.

If he really is a CL X SLW he is not rare. I have 7 sitting in my brooder as we speak!
