Oh, and you have just reminded me, I was taking photos of my newest CL chick yesterday, alongside one of my EEs, and I was also noticing that they are practically identical, except for their head markings, and now the EE has some color coming in on the neck. So it made me wonder if they didn't use CL as part of the mix in my EE. (Meyer- and they do have CLs, which they are apparently using in their Olive Egger program.)
However, I think with my two EEs, they probably just happen to have the "chipmunk" look, and the same initial wing feather pattern due to the common EE genetics. Seems most of them start out like that.

. One chick has a much larger comb and is turning red where the others haven't started to turn red yet. That is one of the chicks that I see sparring more often. Will it most likely be a rooster? I have also seen the adult rooster flaring at one of the chicks. Would he be more aggressive towards a male chick? He's also started herding the hens around a lot more and seems to be mating more often. The chicks are just a month old.
