Here are our first batch of chicks that we got in January 2012'. The head shots really show the diffence between the girls (brown vees on head) and the boys (white spots on head). The cockerels are both from different blood lines which is why they have different colour chick down. The pullets share a 3rd bloodline.





Here is one of the pullets at 8 weeks old.



And finally, I have to post this one of a 4 week old cockerel because it is the only photo we have that I love and my wife hates.

Its been a while since I posted on this thread. My cream legbars are laying and I have hatched lots of chicks from them.
I am loving the cream legbars. My hen is an awesome layer. Right now she is laying 12-13 eggs in a row then she skips a day. My rooster has been doing his job too. I have had 100 % fertility!
The auto-sexing is so neat. The differences between the males and females are so distinguished. I didnt realize they were so different until I had two of my own hatch out.

Mine were hatched on Jan. 9th. Samantha of High View Farm got them from GFF. I got them at about two months.
