One of the Marans was wiggling while I was candling them on their way into the hatcher. SO EXCITED! My co-workers can hardly stand me right now

Very nice chicks.  
I'm curious if the female with the tiny white dot contained within her V will grow up to have stronger barring.  It is one of my new theories.  The result of stronger barring will show in the female's tail feathers when she is an adult IMO. 

I had a little pullet with white in her V. She is heavily barred. You may be onto something!

1 day old chicks. Cream Legbar pullets mixed with Marans

About a week old. I either have 5 little roos and 1 pullet or 4 and 2. Could the one back left one be a pullet with poor auto sexing quality "light spot on head" or is that color normal?

This is my first CL chicks. The back left one is that a normal down color for a roo or is that a sign of a poor auto sexing trait?

The one in the back look just fine as far as down color goes, and yes he is a boy.
