I thought we had a section here where one could read about all the different breeds? Anyways..Hi everyone! It's been awhile since I was here. I just got a bunch of cream legbar chicks and I love them! and the cute little mohawks. what are they like as adults? Photos please?

I have 3 of the cream legbars and enjoy them. They're good layers of pretty blue eggs. Mine are human-shy but maybe that's just mine and others have a different experience with them.

I have 2 legbar hens and a rooster. I got him specifically to breed bc I just love my hens so much. They walk around the yard with me but they dont like being touched lol. They are also pretty tough. One hen survived a racoon attack and had a terrible wound but she's a survivor! I will post some pics of my babies

I just hatched my first Legbars a few weeks ago. Really pleased so far. They do seem to be a bit more flighty than other breeds though.

They do seem to be a bit more flighty than other breeds though.

That I think is pretty typical of the breed.

It looks like they're trying to balance pancakes on their beaks.
