I want some, I know they are mainly in the UK but has anybody heard of them in the US. They are an auto sexing breed that lays blue and they Roos look crele, one of my fav. colors. Just figured I'd ask........... One more to add to my 'I want' list. If you want to see pics and details I found a breed page on here under legbars and they are under rhodebars on feathersite.

I have heard of this breed before but hadnt realized they lay blue eggs... now i really want some!

It shouldn't be too hard to recreate them here.. they are basically light brown leghorn with cuckoo barring, plus the blue eggs. Hardest part would be getting single combed blue eggers due to the pea comb and blue eggshell gene being very closely linked together.

They are an older now rare breed, I found a breeder in scotland and would like to have some Imported if I cant find any here, but would want to set up a preservaton team an get more than 1 bloodline to cut down on inbeeding if I did carry through. I also read where there were campains used in the begining too and the breed was worked with over 10-15 year before they had the right type and bred true.
