Cream Legbars

Really!! So good to know there are quiet ones out there!! Maybe my girls have been badly influenced by their noisy BCM broody mama. I feel like i should move to a distsnt rural area...My boy is a cornucopia of wonderful calls and chatters and growls, and periodic crowing.

My FBCM hens are the most expressive too, although I do have one CL that speaks her mind and doesn't seem to realize she is about a 1/3 of their size...I don't know how she manages to be so high in the pecking order...

Here is my back door. They know I am in there! The legbars are first in line.

Hey, that reminds me of our chickens! They've been known to follow us right into the house if a door doesn't get shut immediately. This is such a funny picture! Thank you for sharing. :)

Welcome to BYC, @wildchickenmom! Your little ones are beautiful, and it looks like you've got a really nice setup for them. Be prepared for chicken math to set in. I started with 5 birds almost a year and a half ago, and I now have 55 (and that's after rehoming 6). There are so many fascinating breeds to try, and life is so short. ;-) Enjoy your babies. They grow up fast.

Thank you so much! And I am feeling the effects of chicken math already, lol. I'm already planning a bigger coop!

Looks like the big pushy guys get to the front of the line! After our backyard remodeling gets done we're barracading our birds from the back door - as much as we love them and enjoy watching them we're tired of washing away their poops where we walk. When the builder is done they'll still be able to watch us and still be close but on their side of the barrier!

BACKDOOR GROUP SHOTS OF VARIOUS BREEDS - TIRED OF THE POOPY SIDEWALK!

YEP, THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DON'T CLOSE THE DOOR FAST ENOUGH!
