just got my cream legbar chicks from GFF on Wed. They all seem to be doing great, active,
eating, drinking, etc. So darling; can't wait to see how they develop. Looks like 8 girls, 2 roos.

chickendeal-- cute toddlers! Looks like they are going to outgrow their home soon! I can't believe how fast chickies grow!

Walady944-- I can't remember, is that what you ordered or did they send extras? Looks like the boys have different colors although maybe its just shadowing cuz in the first photo the one is pretty shy. Is the hiding one on the right in the first photo the same one that is also in the right corner in the second photo?

Congrats on the batch! You'll have to post pictures as the boys mature but I bet they will be cream!

This girl is a little over 5 weeks. She is one of two purchased a few weeks ago. The little one behind her is only 3 weeks. I've got eggs in the bator that are due to hatch tomorrow. We'll see what comes of those!

I have a few questions, if you don't mind. I'm painfully new to the breed but it is my understanding that large crests mean I may have a problem with falling combs (unless I have that backwards) and I'm a little worried about how red-breasted they are. Is that much red okay?
