Cream Legbars

I am just amazed at how greenish some of your CLB's eggs are. Here is one of my eggs, no retouching at all just cropping. The eggs alongside it are my duck green egg EE I made. The greenish eggs are 84 and 77 grams.
Beautiful! I'm joining this thread because this is my next dream chicken breed. I don't have any yet, but plan to hatch some this spring! :yiipchick

Thanks, I got lucky on my line of CLB's I seem to have really good blue eggs. My concern is I do not lose the egg color when I go for other traits. I will only be hatching the bluest eggs.

I'm pretty excited about how the 3 boys will enhance my chicks next year.. I won't know until next fall if they make my eggs bluer, but I have several shades of bluest blue to blue green.

Twisty's comb is looking better to me. What do y'all think? I really don't know what I'm looking for. Been reading but learning first hand from others helps. He has developed more of a crest. His tail is starting to grow in but he's still just a little guy but he rules the coop! All the ladies love him and our other cockerel too!

I sure hope they do the trick for you. When picking hens for them, try to get those with decent crests.

I am having a problem with the crest disappearing. I have to go through the "soup roosters" and try and get one with a decent comb crest and barring because of Andy's lack of concentration on his crest...Stupid Andy!

I have one I'm holding back in the soup pen, possible 2, crazy crest, it keeps getting bigger, and his comb is staying very reasonable. It's the earlobes I gotta watch. Maybe I can save one of mine for you, and see how they finish out. I could get all the tests run and bring crazy crest boy over, next year when I have a chance to save for a cross country trip.

That is a possibility. You know I have all the Minnesota import and NPIP rules to comply with, so I would have to check with them, but I think I could pull this off.

They make selling things easier than bringing things in. I have my own personal USDA Vet that keeps a close eye on my actions....
