It's day 20 in the incubator for my CCL's. Got these eggs from Mullins Chicken Ranch in TN. Out of 12 eggs, 11 were fertile at day 7. We've got 7 pipping and peeping, fingers crossed for the other 4. Happy, happy!

We ended up with 8 chicks...2 cockrells and 6 pullets. I couldn't ask for a better combination! Of the other 3 unhatched eggs, 1 didn't develop much past day 7. The other 2 were almost 'full term' but were dead in the shell. 67% hatch. Anyway, I'm very happy. Should be laying by spring!

Flaming Chicken, did you have trouble contacting Greenfire? I have sent several messages in the last week and have not had any response.

@muttsfan, did you try calling yet? Sometimes they don't get to their correspondence email, and they get so many notes that they don't get through them all in a timely fashion. I once had a response from a note I had written 1 month earlier.

I will try that. They clearly state on their site that they are a web-based business - usually that means they prefer online contact and not so much phone calls.

got it. Maybe they hired someone else to help with office work, but before it was only a few people who were with the birds most of the day.

Diane made all the calls on this order. I have emailed them in the past and had to wait a cople weeks for reply.
