New York State Agriculture & Markets Law 354:§
354. 3. No person shall sell, offer for sale, barter or give away living baby chicks, ducklings or other fowl or baby rabbits under two months of age in any quantity less than six.
So I'd have to wait until he's two months before I could rehome him.

If SC has the same law, I am in deep toooooo!

I think we all might fall under that breaking the law category lol.

But I think those laws are meant for Store that sell animals like pet stores or feed stores and swaps etc. I don't know if that also includes every single individual that raises animals.

Though I have not looked into it so I may be wrong.

edited to add I just looked up my states laws on animal sales and all I can find listed is bunnies must be over 4 weeks of age.

It is the same in Virginia. You cannot sell chicks less two months of age in numbers less than 6. This applies to stores and individual sellers. If you are a registered poultry dealer, they give you a packet of information and these rules are in the packet.

I have a question about chicks. I have shipped CCL eggs on the incy.
One hatched this am...it is a yellow chick. Is this possible if its suppose to be a purebred CCL?
I thought the females were to be chipmunk & the makes were grey with a white dot.
